Out of McAlester

We have just left McAlester at 1:11:36 just behind minnesota. They left at 12:54:27. We are now on our way to Neosho under sunlight. The drive to McAlester was under clouds and we used a decent amount of power, but now we are charging!

Route info says 152 miles from Plano to McAlester. Half hour at the checkpoint means Michigan made it in at 12:41, app. 3 hours 41 minutes after the start. The calculator says average speed was 41.3 mph. That's with clouds, rain, and a couple of stops. Might need to go a little faster to make Neosho by 5:00 (183 miles farther on). With sun shining and birds singing they should be able to. (Okay, the birds may not be strictly necessary.)

Missouri-Rolla (I mean Missouri S&T) posted to their blog that they reached McAlester an hour behind Minnesota, with only the two U of M's ahead of them. Principia came in shortly after Missouri. So that's your first four places as of about 1:30.
